Running The Race Was Hard
But the Achievement Was Sweet Anyone who’s been to the ING New York City Marathon knows that it is an event to prepare for, but here’s a glimpse at what when down this year. Fans, family and friends line the streets earlier this month in support of all the athletes who were brave enough to run the 26.2-mile course. The path starts in Staten Island, snakes its way into Brooklyn, up and over to Queens, across to Manhattan, up to the Bronx and finally back to Manhattan. The finish line was set in Central Park.
