Trayvon Martin Deserves Justice
On the evening of February 26, 2012, Trayvon Martin, was shot and killed while walking towards his fathers home in a gated community. According to the HuffPost BlackVoices, Martin was shot by George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watchman. The article states that “The local state attorney is reviewing the investigation and will decide whether to prosecute the volunteer watchman.” The Orlando Sentinel posted the 911 call from a nearby resident as she reports screams of distress and a single gun shot.
