ART OUTSIDE

Public Space Is NYC’s Theatre  In New York, the fall brings a very different type of festival.  It’s a celebration of the arts, but it’s not in the normal realm of where most artwork is admired.  I discovered “AIOP – Art in Odd Places”, and it took me all around 14th Street and Union Square to find it. Why was it so hard you ask?  Because it’s on the street amongst the everyday downtown environment. It’s about putting the abstract, the contemporary, the modern and the just plain unusual out in plain view to be reviewed by anyone and everyone.
